Sana offers solace to Asian female survivors of gender-based violence in New York City and cultural solidarity through the power of music. A violin duo, Sana partners with organizations to perform concerts, which feature works by Asian female composers, to facilitate cultural exchange and understanding.

Sakhi for South Asian Women is a NY-based non-profit that exists to represent the South Asian diaspora in a survivor-led movement for gender-justice and to honor the collective and inherent power of all survivors of violence. For over 32 years, Sakhi has supported survivors of domestic and sexual violence in New York City. The work is intersectional and holistic, as they seek to address systemic issues of neglect and maltreatment with trauma-informed, community-driven solutions.
