UN Chamber Music Society x United Nations Development Programme for Climate Action

On Wednesday, 11 May 2022, at the Times Building, the UN Chamber Music Society is proud to present a concert during the United Nations Development Programme’s launch of the Global Cinema Medium Campaign and United Nations Global Impact Awards Presentation for Recognition of Outstanding Contribution to Climate Action.

The music programme will feature music repertoire from all over the world, and will open with music from Spirited Away, a film which repeatedly examines the consequences of destructive actions against the environment and the harm it causes to people and society through ecological subtext. In the feminist spirit, the concert will close with music composed by Clara Schumann. Founded in 2016, the UN Chamber Music Society is dedicated to promoting the United Nations' goals and values at large - through the universal language of music.
